MightyMeals For Hospital Staff

In partnership with Mighty Meals, Trophy Body PT, and Hearts of Empowerments we successfully delivered a total of 1849 freshly made mighty meals to health care heroes working on the front line of the Covid-19 Pandemic.

 

In total we reached delivered to 20 hospitals/healthcare centers located in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia region - raising $22,613.56 along the way.

Who We Served: Hospital heroes working on the frontline of the COVID-19 pandemic

When It Took Place: March 28, April 4, April 11, April 18, April 25, May 9, May 16, May 20, May 21, May 23, May 30, June 6, June 10, and June 13.

Where It Took Place: George Washington University Hospital, Inova Fairfax Hospital, Sibley Memorial Hospital, Virginia Hospital Center, Children's National Hospital, MedStar Washington Hospital Center, Suburban Hospital, Sunrise Senior Living - Bethesda / Chevy Chase / Springfield / McLean / Burke, Inova Alexandria Hospital, Adventist Health Care Center, Georgetown University Hospital, Ashbury Methodist Village, Medstar Montgomery Hospital, Kasier Permanente Springfield / Tysons Corner, and Howard University Hospital. 

What We Did:  To show our appreciation for the medical professionals here in the local D.C., Maryland, and Virginia region we partnered with MightyMeals, TrophyBodyPT and Hearts of Empowerment to deliver, high quality, ready-to-eat meals to the heroes working in our hospitals during the COVID-19 crisis.

About Us

The P.U.S.O. Foundation is an international 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, established in March 2017 and registered in January 2018 in the state of Virginia.

Puso is a Tagalog (Filipino) word that directly translates to “heart” in English. However, it has a more powerful and personal meaning for this organization – P.U.S.O. is an acronym for the Purposeful Unconditional Service to Others.

Since its inception, the P.U.S.O. Foundation has delivered on its mission to provide hope with a purpose by serving over 450,000 lives around the globe, thanks to the support and involvement of local and global volunteers, students and alumni of the College Outreach Program, and various corporate sponsors.
